    Default Different day, different results

Monday at lunch I was able to see and "catch" (hard to believe I typed that) bluegill and bass. Tuesday went to the same area and didn't even see any bluegill. Water was muddied up pretty good and then I saw why. There were several pods of carp working up and down the shore, little ones in close working the rocks on shore, big ones just cruising off shore. Unfortunately I was rigged for bluegill and the carp didn't want anything I had with me. Time to dig through the archives to come up with some easy carp flies.

Swen.. thanks for the laugh! Anytime I see the words carp and easy in the same sentence it cracks me up. I've never met a carp as dumb as I am. Either that or I've never met a hungry carp. Maybe both!

    Have fun going for it.
