    Default Thanks for the "Pigboat"

I tied up a few in various colors last winter when everyone was talking about them.

Black with a yellow "belly" has been "veddy, veddy goood to me". Thanks folks.

Fun aren't they. I have a full yellow one that has been treacherous, and in our MO farm pond an olive body with black rubber legs could have been called illegal. JGW

    hidehunter,
would that be black rubber hackle and yellow body and feather?

Also, how should they be fished? Stripped slowly is what I would think.

Trying to achieve 'bluegill' colors so, actually I'm tying an orange body with orange grizzly hackle. Sides and top black -"belly" yellow rubber hackle. Black head - yellow painted eyes. I'm now adding just a few wraps of lead wire under the body.

I'm fishing it mostly in quick 6" strips with a pause.

Fishing with a guy for the first time the other day. His first comment was -

    "Man, that thing's ugly".

    His second was,

"They *like* that thing, don't they?"

    His third was.

    "Let me see that thing."
