    Roger, a 13' Dave Curtis Kevlar canoe with the outrigger pontons and rod holders. The canoe is 28 Lbs.

    Mohawk Canoe is going out of business, their website is still up and as I understand it they are selling their remaining stock, no word yet on the paddling boards if a buy out has gone throught yet.     they have a bulletin board and you can read more than you want about canoes and canoe fishing
    We bought our last canoe from ozark river company out of alton, mo, great people and the shipping worked out great and cheap, they have a website too with some great priced on canoes and kayaks if anyone is interested

    as an aside, I wonder why we don't see more purpose-built catamarans in fly fishing or fishing in general?

    I had a scott canoe for sale over at riversmallies and only had one hit.If anyone is interested,it was intended for ponds and small lakes,i've only used it twice and was bought in october last year.Scott lilcanoe
    12' long 34" wide in drab olive with the slimline package which weighs 44 lbs,two person canoe.Will throw in seatbacker,blocks,
    straps,bending branches paddle.Canoe sold for 989.00,will sell for 600.00 in NC.
