Went out and tried my luck stillwater fishing today. Had a BLAST! I went to a local pond, had the whole place to myself. Other than a couple of wind knots I didn't have any problems. I fished the shallow end with size 14 black and peacock wooleys and caught some nice gills, a couple of small bass, and a nice crappie. I didn't know how much fun flyfishing stillwater could be. I'm hooked !!
