Ahhh...yes...I forgot that a pair of 'ears the size of those in your photo grabbing a scud tandem at the same time would bust up your gear real quick.

I have an after-work task to do this afternoon. Once it's taken care of I'll try to get out on the lake around sundown. Fairly sizeable fish have been surfacing all over the place around that time. I wonder now if some of those are redears.

I'll try a scud dropped behind a small popper and see what happens. If I can't do it tonight, then sometime this weekend.

I wonder if crappie eat scuds. You'd think so.
