    Default gas prices

for those who travel.. or going to a fish-in..

    try this:

    This is pretty nifty.
Just enter your zip code in the site below, and it tells you which gas stations have the cheapest prices (and the highest) on gas in your zip code area. ! ; It's updated every evening. Just click on the link. You will see a map of your area and then scroll down and you will get a listing of gas prices in your area with addresses and brands starting with the cheapest and going up.

I have used this site on many occasions and if has be helpful. Glad we don't live in Hawaii, that is if we had to buy gasoline.

I don't know how it is south of the border, but up here in my area (Toronto), the gas prices are typically 5-10 cents per litre cheaper in the evening than they are in the morning. That's about 25 - 50 cents per gallon for you United Statesers.
I used to get gas on my way to work. I now get it on my way home.
Have any of you noticed the same thing in the U.S.?

Here in Ohio, I think they play Yahtzee all day, & the winner of each game gets to "pick a price"!! You have to be awful fast to start pumping before they change the price again!

Gas at every station in town but one is the same price. When one changes, they all change almost simultaneously. But, we have been told there is no price fixing going on.

    Today, gas is $2.78/gallon.

At least for me, many of the stations it recommends are a gallon of gas away and at $3.40 +/- a gallon, slurping up two gallons to save ten cents a gallon on twenty gallons or less, kind of flies in the face of reason.

But I'll keep the link handy for road trips.

    Thanks, Dave

Some of you guys are starting to get close to what we are paying here in Digby, Nova Scotia.

    Currently it is $1.119/L Cdn

1 US Gallon is approx 3.79L

$1.00 Cdn is about $0.90 US as of today

    1.119 * 3.79 * .9 = $3.82 US

Just gotta love all of our extra taxes.....

Can't help but think about a former coworker that used to drive twenty miles out of the way to fill up at costco. He said it was always 5 to 10 cents cheaper. His tank held 14 gallons. He never could explain his logic.

Let's play a game. The next person to reply "Me too!" is a tard.
