You and me both, Chris. For sure. Similar situation, btw. Been so for 11 years now and I'm here to tell you that if you work it, it works. The only thing that ends up mattering is what she knows of you and what you know of her. The rest fades away year by year. I'll be thinking of you.

I only make one resolution each year, not to make resolutions.

I resolve to "Think Outside the Box".

Be helpful to those whose are interested in fly fishing (all aspects).

When having a choice of fishing or something else, to go fishing (the something else can always wait for a rainy day)!

To have a song in my heart, a smile on my face, and a cheery outlook on the possiblities ahead of me.

To get more involved with the local fly fishing club, help out on more of their projects, etc.

To challenge myself as a fly tier - get into some more technical flies.

To catch a bass on a fly rod!!!

To fish some new spots that I have heard about - and to take my oldest son with me more often now that he is showing a strong interest in fly fishing.
