Default Sea Isle, Cape May, NJ Info wanted

I will be spending the weekend of Thanksgiving at Sea Isle on the North end of Cape May, NJ. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with that area and could give me some guidance. I assume that the Stripers that are leaving the New England Coast should be there waiting for my arrival.

    Thanks,
    jed

Jed. I fish on the Delaware Bay side of NJ. But folks along the coast between AC and the Cape are in the middle of some of the most active sripper fishing of the season. goodluck FB.

    Jed,

You'll wanna fish the north side of Townends Inlet at the top of the of outgoing tide. Fish the beach under the bridge. Crease flies, Eel patterns, and decievers all taking fish. Lots of short bass but very fun. You gotta catch it just right.

Townsends connects Sea Isle City and Avalon. Good Luck

    Thanks all, esp. Copper Dropper.

I'll be there early in the AM as that is the only time I have free. I'll have to check the tide charts and see if I'm lucky or not. Either way fishing is better than not. Thanks for the info.

Jed, I may see you there. High tide is 4:18 am. Dress warm it is supposed to be a high of 39 on Sat, but @ 4 am it is likely to be more like 20.

I'm a fool, weather probably should but likely won't stop me. I expect I will be Saturday there from about 6:00 ~ 6:30 to 8:30 ~ 9:00 depending on the bite of the weather and the bite of the fish.

I'll keep an eye out for another fool fly fishing
