would really undulate in the water...If you do try this.
I'd like to hear the out come Duckster...as I think it would cast like a stocking...a wet one at that..But I am wrong more often than not!

Raccoon "If you can get it Tanned"...Is quite kewl, still a bit stiff but a nice minnow nonetheless,With a stockingly feel in the air after it is well soaked.
    Wish ya great fishing,Bill

Though not specifically a Zonker, my favorite bugger is all Arctic Fox.
I find the fox fur to be soft but fuller looking when wet.
    Tail: Atctic Fox
Body: A.F underfur (There's plenty in there!)
Hackle: A.F. hair tips via Magic Tool.
    Collar: Ditto
    Ribbing (optional): small copper wire.

I have never used fox for zonkers, but I do like it for small clousers and buggers. I did find this link that shows one. [url=http://64.176.118.230/arcticfoxzonker.htm:89797]http://64.176.118.230/arcticfoxzonker.htm[/url:89797]
