THANKS for the great idea, Nicholas! I read your article just before my 2 fishin' buddies arrived to tie flies last night. We were all complaining that our ziploc bags of hackle were getting crushed and that it was impossible to find the right ones in the bottom of the tackle boxes we use for organizing fly tying gear.

I hit Office Depot today to buy a portable file case and hanging files, and I'll be spending the rest of the evening organizing feathers. Geez, I bet you can out-cast me too!

I have been trying to find out who the young smart a** was that came up with this idea........................so I could thank him great idea Fish. After years of untidy tying areas I finally have some semblance of order whilst tying.
