Fish like predator.
JAd;
I make my own out of heavy monifiliment using a hemostat and a candle. I use a Magic marker to color them. When you get the hang of it the mono melts down to sort of a golden tint and I leave them that way.

I learned this method from the WAPSI guys at Southern Conclave last year...
Place the barbell eyes in a cardboard box (preferably with short sides) and spray paint them on one side with the desired color. Let them dry and then give the box a quick shake. The painted side is slightly heavier and will naturally go to the bottom revealing the unpainted top. Then just spray the top and you're done. You can even use this technique for two-tone eyes.

I wish I could take credit for the idea, but like I said, I got it from the WAPSI guys. They're pretty creative fellas.

I built a 6RPM drying wheel for finishing rods. I epoxyed 12 alligator clips to the front for drying TransparAnts. Total cost was $6.00. I buy my dumbell eyes in bulk and use testors model paint, color combinations are infinite they fit perfectly into the clips.
Get a large toothed comb and stick them in and paint away
Just how many sets of eyes are you trying to paint at one time? What effect are you trying to achive, as in, to what degree would you like to take a paint job of lead eyes? And too, what sizes of eyes are you attempting?
