Largest Fly-Tying-Materials Factory
The Spring 2005 issue of Fly Tyer magazine has an interesting article on the world's largest fly-tying-materials factory (Wapsi). There sure must be a lot of us fly tyers out there. For example, more than 23,00 squirrel skins and 200 deer hides a year. Find a copy and read it if you can.

I wish Wapsi would sell to professionals and not just retailers. They make so much stuff that you really can't do without. I read that article too and it's amazing how much they produce. Wish I could be turned loose in their warehose for a day with a shopping cart.
The past two years at SowBug they have given tours. I went last year and it is amazing.

We've been trying to get Wapsi as a Sponsor for some time. If any of you have connections with them, or do business with them you might put in a good word for FAOL.
