    Default A long time ...

Hi all!! Been a really long time since I've checked in here. Been a rough year ... hopefully, it'll settle down for the new year!Haven't been fishing in South Dakota or Wyoming for a year, and dearly miss them. Did get to southern Missouri for a few days this fall, and where it doesn't compare to "out west", at least I got to touch some trouts! Family is doing quite well. Going to add a new great grand son to the mix in February. That'll be grgr #4! Tristyn is doing well. She's just turned 10, and is in a special 4th grade class. She's learning basic skills, and how to communicate on the computer! She loves the Las Vegas strip and all the noisy, lightflashing casinos! She has recently learned to walk, but, relies on the wheelchair 99% of the time. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, and a safe, blessed New Year. Your Swamp Witch
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

Thanks for sharing, Betty. Glad you are well. It has been a tough year at our home as well. Hopefully 2024 will be a better year. Blessings to all. Jim

Merry Christmas Betty! Great to hear you are up and around. You have my sympathy on the lack of fishing I traded fishing for a grand daughter 5 years ago. I think next spring she get introduced to fishing. I'm pretty happy with the trade, you can ask anyone I see regularly who I think is the sweetest little girl ever.
