Thanks fellas! Yes, Dale. I had ordered 2 rods in early December from Gary Loomis's EDGE rod company. I got a 7 wt Archetype, and an 8 wt Gamma Beta. The Gamma Beta has the Carbon Fiber grip that you see in the pics above. I'm really liking both rods, and both have proven to be excellent fish-catchers! The prices are excellent for what you get! I probably have the 7wt overloaded somewhat, since I currently have an 8wt Rio Outbound Short on it, but it really casts it well and far, even with a heavy fly also on the line. A 7wt Outbound Short might be a better line choice for it. On the 8wt, I currently have the 8wt Airflo Superflo Power Taper line.
