I am building a 4 weight Sage TXL and was looking at Venneri reel seats and was wondering if anybody has had any experience with them. Thanks for any input

I have some experience with them, top quality reel seats and quite a selection to satisfy the eye as well. Beautiful work and really set a rod off very nicely. I haven't used them on any graphites but on several bamboo rods. I think you will be pleased with the look they give. They are typically a little more expensive than some others on the market but you will see a noticable diffenece in the quality of the machine work as well. Bob Venerri's work is excellent. Good luck with your rod

superior quality stuff, and it looks it too. the only caveat I might add is to check to see if what you want is in stock, if it is not then it take a while to get it

Hi Ladyfisher, I buy from REC sometimes, gret company and great service too. Are their seats From Venerri? I know they do some work with Dave LeClair and had heard that Bob Venerri either designs or makes their reel seats. I like their agate stripper guides a lot too, don't know who is making them.
