    Default finished a 3wt 7'9"

I tried the LS Supreme on this rod. I like it, low build goes on easy. I have never used FC low build so I cannot compare the two. I kept the wraps to three turns before going onto the guides and it looks real nice and minimal.
I went out to the garage to check on things and the rod had come off the spindle on the drier and wasn't turning. A bit of a scare but the epoxy had tacked up enough that it didn't sag. The LS seems to go off a bit better than Flex Coat. I hooked up an electric quartz element workshop heater on the cieling above the workbench so that helps curing time.
By the way, it's a H&H IM6 matt charcoal rod kit but I used charcoal thread instead of black to blend a bit better. Kind of boring, but stealthy look.

Built that same rod this summer. Fished it some this fall. Nice and crisp casting.

    Chewy,
Yeah, I was hoping to have it for the fall but I didn't get around to it till now. There is a little bluegill lake here that is stocked with trout in the winter that may be my only choice to try it on. I'm glad you liked yours.
