The issue with the dam was repaired / resolved around midnight last night - 12-1-2021. Water has been flowing down the Madison since then.
There will undoubtedly be some adverse effects on the fishery, but they will almost certainly be minimal and temporary.

The fish are always right.
Great news that the repairs were implemented so quickly. After the 2008 intake failure, which led to uncontrolled flows for over a month and repairs that were finally completed in 2015, I was expecting much worse.
