On Hiatus

Well tyers, we still find this part of the forum with basically 3-4 tyers doing all of the posting

we also see a lot of "views" but hardly no replies

Its time for me to step away again from posting fly patterns that i dont know if anybody likes or even wants to see

i'll monitor this category from time to time to see what the remaining tyers that are posting

I see your point Norm, and I'm one of the guilty ones. I do look at FAOL several times a week but I don't post a lot. I really appreciate your flies and and admire your tying skill, and am grateful for your many posts. Hope you come back to FAOL soon!

Same applies to Byron and Scott, and others who occasionally post pictures of their flies.

You are an excellent tier and I admire the precision of all your wraps. I even commented on how nice the head and your flies always look. As far as more people posting pictures: Most of us are not that good or accomplished with photography I would imagine. With that said, I think most members certainly look at and admire the work of all who show their work here (especially you and Scott). So, take a rest if need be, but hope you will start back soon. Thanks!!

I would echo what J Campbell opined. I, who, does not tie, appreciates all the more your contributions herein. Perhaps there is/are a lack of comments because some of US cannot compose an intelligent question or comment but that's not to imply that we ignore or don't appreciate your efforts.
