    Default Hunting Creek Nymph



    Hunting Creek Nymph

    Hook - Standard wet/nymph, size 10-14
    Weight - Lead/lead free wire
    Thread ? Black
    Tail ? Mottled hair or feather fibers
    Rib - Copper wire
    Body - Fine black dubbing (rabbit, beaver etc)
    Wing case/hotspot ? Dyed red duck/goose quill or red antron yarn
    Thorax - Peacock herl, reinforced around the tying thread
    Hackle - Hen soft hackle, black, brown or dun
