    From Colorado tyer Jay Zimmerman; kinda stands out in a crowd.

    hook - WFC Model 28 #12
    thread - Veevus tan
    underbody - Krystal Flash rootbeer
    body - micro tubing tan
    wing - deer hock bleached
    thorax - Ice Dub hare’s ear tan
    indicator - McFlyfoam cerise
    hackle - ginger

    I really like this pattern for early summer dry and dropper fishing. Later in the summer, bigger profile hoppers and stimies are great. But in the early summer a smaller profile caddis like this seems to work better for me. This pattern has the smaller caddis profile, but still has good flotation and visibility for suspending a light to medium weight beadhead dropper. I tie some with white posts as well, but the hot pink has the best visibility.

    Hey Scott,
    I could probably see that one in the ripples and foam I prefer to cast toward. As John ( above) stated, white posts are good also but a bit less visible in the situation I posted. (foam...white ?)
