    Default Kingfisher?

I have an old three piece bamboo rod. The only marking is "Kingfisher" engraved in the metal reel seat.
The butt section is about half the size of the mid and tip sections. All wraps and snake guides appear to be original.
Any thoughts about what I have? Is it worth anything?
    In advance, thanks

An early production rod company, they show up on eBay now and then. Not a bad fishing rod, I hear, worth maybe a hundred depending on condition and length. About the same category as a Montague or Shakespeare, which is not as bad as some bamboo clerics make them!

Apparently Kingfisher rods were made by Heddon after WWII. Signified by brown tone cane and "Kingfisher" handwritten on the flat above the handle. Equivilent to the Heddon #8. These were marketed by the J.R. Tryon Co. If an earlier rod, then all bets are off. Probably made by Montague.
