Sunburst Muddler

Used Davie McPhail's Sunburst Mayfly as the foundation with a few minor changes.

hook ? WFC Model 6 #6
thread - MFC 6/0 fire orange
tag - Depth Ray fire orange
tail - bleached pheasant tail dyed sunburst (1 Tbs Rit Golden Yellow/1 cup water)
rib - small wire gold
body - dubbing yellow/Ice Dub clear
body hackle - dyed sunburst
1st shoulder hackle - golden pheasant rump red
2nd shoulder - chukar dyed sunburst
head - deer hair dyed sunburst

nice tie scott,

reminds me of a mickey finn, I tie the same style pattern, but use all rabbit fur . a short zonker strip for a tail, loop dub the body, and palmer a zonker strip for the head/hackle or spin some rabbit fur for the head/hackle
