So did all the prayers and well wishes regarding your recent health issue do any good ? We cared then and still care.

Jack is doing well. Almost back to normal, what ever that is. He had a guide trip last Thursday. Talked to him about a week before that. Had a small stroke , but it was caught and treated in short order.

OK, I don't know a better place to put this "notice" than here, since I don't have Jack's email address. A few years ago I posted a notice on here asking if anyone had old fly rods for some under privileged kids in our area who had expressed an interest in fly fishing. I donated one and Jack Hise graciously donated the other. Well, the young lady who got Jack's fly rod when she was 12 graduated high school this year with honors. Her uncle told me that she is still using that fly rod religiously and remembers where it came from. I think she wrote Jack a letter at the time. WAY TO GO JACK!! Good to hear you are doing well.

Jack appears to be doing a lot better. He emailed me that he was going camping for over a week and that I could join him any time for some BS'g and fishing.
I'll be able to go fishing with him for a couple days later this week, good time guaranteed!
