    Created by South African tyer Spranger Harrison in the 1930's.


    hook - Dai Riki 075 #8
    thread - Danville 6/0 black
    tail - golden pheasant tippet
    body - peacock herl/tinsel silver
    throat - mearns quail dyed blue
    wing - mallard quill

    Thanks. Those are from mallard secondary feathers; that’s the natural color.
