Thanks guys, had a great day, spent the entire morning hanging out and helping man a booth the North Georgia Trout On-Line at the Fly Fishing Show and then carried my lovely wife of 52 years out for dinner on her birthday. My daughter, her husband and my 8 week old granddaughter (who the judges decided was the prettiest baby born this century) are coming over Sunday in an early celebration of my daughter's birthday next Friday for Mom's famous pot roast with taters, carrots and onions. If life was any better I would have to be twins. I am greatly blessed.

John, as I told the doctor last year I have done the most important thing to ensure a long life, I got born in the right family. Lost my mom last year at 92, she was up and going the day she died; her dad made it to 91, with intermediate attractions to Pall Mall cigarettes and cheap booze, but he was in his vegetable garden in July with pushplow at 4 p.m. when he was 86. If one of my neighbors here in this over crowded county doesn't run me down, I should make it a good many more years.

Happy brithday.... hope to fish with you again. I'll buy the coffee.
I would like that a lot. While I have hoped to get back to the brookies at the Elk; the smallmouth at the Duck haunt me. I have never caught a smallie on a flyrod. One of my oldest best friend has a son who lives on Signal Mountain and we have agreed we don't get to visit enough each year and those rivers would be a good place for us to share our love of slinging line and laughing and talking. Rooms out at Arnold AFB are pretty affordable.

Hey UJ,
A late but no less sincere wish that you have had a VERY happy birthday.
Stay Young!

Thanks Mark, being a little late is just a continuing reminder of friendships.
