    Tonight I received the highest award my club, the North Idaho Fly Casters, can give. "I was named "FLYFISHER of the YEAR"! It was not because I was any great shakes of a fly caster but more about my sharing knowledge and helping others become better fly fishers. A great deal of that knowledge came from the members here as well as those I have had the good fortune to fish with and it was very easy to follow the example of sharing that is set by the members here. You all have a share of that Award too!

    Jack,
    To add to you adulation, a couple of year ago you gave a flyrod to a young man in Michigan whose parents could not afford a rod. I am happy to inform you that the young man is still fly fishing with that rod and often mentions you giving it to him . Glad to hear that you are still doing good things. Hope you are well and would love to have you attend the 2019 MIFI. Best to you for the Holidays!!

    Congratulations !!! on your award .The folks in Tullahoma are probably VERY sorry you left but I'll be travelling thru there in a few days on our way to Florida and tell em all you're doin GREAT.
