    Default Thinner for SOFTEX

I wanted to know if anyone ever used a thinner for SOFTEX Clear Flexible Coating and if so what is the best choice to use to thin it down?

I would like to thin the SOFTEX down to coat some turkey wing quills.

    Thank you for any suggestions.

    Gordon,

I use naphtha; I’ve heard toluene works, as well and I think it?s not quite as nasty. Either way, mix it in a well-ventilated area.

    Hello Scott.

Thank you for your reply about the thinner.

I wasn't sure what would of been compatible as a thinner.
I'll be going to town tomorrow and I'll be sure to see if I will be able
to find either of them on the shelf at our local hardware stores and you
can be sure that I'll be outside when I try it out.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Gordon
