Tied up some Deceivers today. Size 2, done Grey over Yellow over White, a color pattern the lure companies call "Sexy Shad". It definitely is sexy! Can't wait to get one of these wet!

Nice tie. I personally prefer the Half-and-Half for the waters I fish, preferably with a flashtail, but the Deceiver is always a good pattern for a lighter/shallower presentation.
I did get to fish one of these a couple days ago. Went to a small stream about 20 minutes from home. This stream is fairly shallow; most places are only knee-deep. I did manage to find a waist-deep hole the hard wayOnly got one strike, from what looked like a Rock Bass. Didn't see any Smallmouth, which is surprising, as this stream is full of them.
