xs small wire

I've been looking at the spools of xs black wire and I have been using a lot of this stuff lately. I would like to buy a bulk spool of black wire that is a little smaller than the xs I have been using. Something that is 44-52 gauge would be great. I have found some lifetime supply spools of copper and blue but I am wanting black.

Does anyone know where I can get a bulk spool of xs in the aforementioned size?
Also, does anyone know if copper wire can be colored black (not sure if 'dye' is the correct terminology)? If so would you care to share?
