    one of the first patterns i learned to tie over 35+ years ago. still a worthy fly to tie today

    Nice ties again. Have you ever seen the book "Wooly Wisdom"? A great guide!

    The wooly worm remains one of my top "go-to" patterns. It has accounted for my largest bluegills & also worked for me on Virginia's Mossy Creek trout in the Shenandoah Valley.
