    Default Annual trek to Madison and Henry?s Fork

    Flew Hawaiian Airlines this morning for Maui. Here will change to larger aircraft for flight to Oakland.

    In Oakland, will join my son and grandson for looonnggg drive up to the rivers around Yellowstone.

    You are real lucky you weren't here in the last week. Record high flows on the Firehole and Gibbon from three months worth of rain in 5 days. All back in shape now.

    Henry fork trip a month or so later..

    Thanks Steve. We start our long drive at 1:00 PM this afternoon.
    Hope to hit West Yellowstone tomorrow afternoon.
    Will stop in Island Park at Trouthunter to check the Fork, but will be staying on the Madison this trip. Will travel back and forth.

    When the drive is getting you down and it seems to be so lonnnnnngggggg just imagine if you were to do it from New York State, ....like I have been known to do, ....more than a few times now . But it is so worth it. Looking forward to your report(s) and pics. Enjoy. Don't sting them all.
