As somewhat implied earlier, I'm bringing the MIFI sign-up back to the top. We can all participate in the rebirth of "GREAT FI times " or watch them fade into the ether. Grayling MI is disproportionately reasonably priced relative to what the area has to offer. Were this area in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana. Pennsylvania etc. , most of us would look upon this as a Orvi$$ destination and priced above our means. It, however, IS an Orvi$$ type destination BUT without the glitz and associated expense. You can even get a hamburger at Spikes' for under $10 bucks. Personally, the bigun's are still only a rumor for me BUT that's not what I told the attendees the last time we were there (shhhh!). You know, it's a fisherman thing . Once upon a time even Betty H came down all the way from Wiz of Oz and Dorothy land. Those were the good ole days that need NOT end. SO, y'all, even if you're just thinking about it, C'MMON DOWN! Free whiskey almost guaranteed.

Oh, to be able to still click the heels of my pretty red shoes ....
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

I did not know you still had those......

Would love to see you and Cary Betty. It's been way too long. Trying to talk Jack into making the trip, but not having a lot of luck.

Brad, as the identified leader of the MI Fish In, recommend you put the dates and host facility on the up coming events area of this site. Looking forward to seeing you guys. You wouldn't believe the caddis hatch that has been going on the last few days. It has overwhelmed the Hendrickson hatch. The numbers of caddis has out classed the population of China with spades. Catch rate is going up as the weather warms somewhat. I think the late snow and freezing weather killed most of the mosquito eggs. I have not seen one mosquito yet. Of course, that is a delight. Everything about this year on the river is different. Good things are coming.

    Brad,
I don't mean to steal your thunder, but I took the liberty of place the MIFI notification and sign up on the "Up Coming Events" tab at the bottom of the FOAL BB. Marco suggested we put it on the old FI tab, but it doesn't exit any more that I can find. Take a look at that TAB and see if there is anything else you would like to add. Thanks

    John,
IMHO, you chose the best place to offer the MIFI sign-up. Thankfully the Events........etc tab gets NO action so it's almost like a "stickey". Hopefully no one will now post their grandmas' birthday there thus again requiring a MIFI bump.
I'm still working on on arranging a visit with y'all.
And, John, being from KY, if you could obtain some "corn squeezins" to tickle , mine , yours and some attendees palates ( for which I'd happily reimburse you) our attendance would almost possibly be assured :>)

Bill and I usually bring several bottles with us...strictly for medicinal purposes of course.

    Brad,
"Actually" I do feel something comin on that will probably be a full blown illness, certainly by the 24th. Unless I hear from my good Lexington KY "pharmacist"/friend Elvin , I'll have to depend on your stash for a cure.
