hook - Dai Riki 280 #8
thread - Uni 8/0 olive
rib - Uni Floss olive
abdomen - Ice Dub hare's ear
legs/shellback - pheasant tail
thorax - Sunburst Dubbing (Dungeon's Ice Dub) - olive
wings - mallard flank


Part 1

mash barb, start thread at 2/3 mark; tie in rib, wrap to bend




dub thread/dub tapered abdomen (take a few wraps behind the rib, then move forward)






counterwrap rib; capture with thread wraps/trim






strip some pt fibers, measure (eye to hook point), tie in on underside, facing forward (apologies for drywall compound on the fingers; kitchen remodel in progress); wrap butts to 2/3 mark

dub thorax






pull shellback over thorax, tie down/trim; sweep legs back, tie down








prep mallard flank; measure (tips to bend)






tie in/trim, whip finish, SHHAN
