    Default Where were you?

Where were you 54 years ago today. I was in the Air Force in an underground missile silo. Our missile crew was on duty. We received word that the President had been shot. Radio traffic and communications went wild. Things began to happen fast and furious. It was one of those days that you will never forget.

Algebra class, Kaimuki High School, Honolulu, Hawaii. Principal made the announcement though tears. Dismissed school for the balance of the day.
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

I was an apprentice in the Optical Shop in the old Brooklyn Navy Yard. I was working alongside of two WWII vets. We had a radio playing, those two guys were stunned. Adios Philip
