Based on John Newbury's version of a Missing Link/tilt-wing; replaced the sparkle braid butt with foam for buoyancy.

abdomen - 1 mm foam tan
    thorax shuck - pheasant aftershaft
    wing - deer hair
    thorax - Zelon dubbing hydropsyche
    hackle - grizzly

    Part 1

put a loop on the end of the mono

mash barb, start thread at mid-point, tie in mono

tie in foam strip, hook loop on to gallows

brush mono with Super Glue, wrap up (shank length), a little more glue and back to the base; tie off/trim

    trim mono, create thread loop
