Is free for "unlimited" the same as prime members?
It's totally free Byron for download to your Kindle or Kindle app on your computer and/or tablet. They have a new list every day. Some are pretty good, most not so much. I bookmark their "free fishing books" list and check it frequently.
The link wanted me to sign up for kindle unlimited. I have prime. They give you a 30 day trial then seem to charge after that.
A way to get you "hooked"??????
Am I missing something?

That is what I was asking about. Still don't know the answer.

I am a prime member and was not able to get the kindle book that Silver creek is talking about without signing up for Kindle Unlimited. They have a 30 free trial then you pay for the service. I guess that you could get books during the trial period then stop the service. I am sure that the company is banking on a person forgetting to unsubscribe or voluntarily continuing.
Perhaps I am missing something?
That's why I didn't get the "free" book. Many, many companies offer 30 day free trials based on statistics of how many who sign up do not subsequently cancel the service. I suspect I would be like many and forget to cancel and begin being charged. So, I very rarely accept free "introductory' offers of recurring charged services.
Please understand, I am not singling out Amazon. I'm a big fan of theirs. Bought the first Kindle they made, am a Prime Member, and have an Echo. Love their products and services.
Just don't usually sign up for "free introductory" offers.

Buyer beware is wise at all times.
My computer says it is free. I don't have Kindle Unlimited but do have Amazon Prime.

I don't have Kindle Unlimited or Amazon Prime but am still able to download their free books to my Kindle app on both my desktop and iPad. The other day I got the one Silver mentioned above and have ordered numerous others over the last few years. All you need is to install the Kindle app to your device to download them-there is no charge at all.
