Awesome Dave, more inspiration.

Nice flies!
I like 'em.
Tomorrow, I'm headed back down to OK for a visit with family.
While I'm there, I'm going to do a quick meet-up with a buddy of mine. He's got several bags of feathers for me, and I have some more flies for him. Going to give him some of the Bluegill-colored Belly Scratchers, a couple more of my Shad-colored Belly Scratchers, a D&D in Shad colors, and a few others. Supposedly he has a pic of a 5 lbs LMB that another friend caught with one of my Belly Scratchers
First: Dave's flies look much more like a gill than mine. Great job Dave! Like Dave, I tied with size 1 hooks. I wanted to use a Clouser pattern making use of colors that might attract bass accustomed to consuming bluegills. I would have responded more quickly to the pic request, but I had given away the ones tied earlier. I have also become a big fan of smaller versions using varied colors of the Clouser & Crazy Charlie patterns. Getting out and enjoying the fish-water-experience are most important to me.

Sorry, Allen. You started this string!! Rever
No biggie. I love seeing pics of flies people tie.
I may have to do some cut/paste saving of an image. While I was in Oklahoma, a buddy of mine tagged me in a pic on FB. 5 1/2 lbs LMB he caught on one of the shad-colored Belly Scratchers.
