    Default More Sunday 'gills

Took the 2wt out for the first time this season; floated a Coachman and the gills were dunking it but not eating it. I got tired of trying to keep it floating so I switched to a foam hopper and tied on a little prince nymph dropper. Seemed I had better luck even though most still hit the hopper. Even doubled up once with a little guy...

Do you have any Drowned Ant soft hackles? I was fishing a Gurgle-Pop with an Ant below it, and was catching some nice gills earlier today.

Also have a brief hookup with what was probably my biggest Bass on-the-fly today, on a Belly Scratcher Minnow. But, it spit the hook after a couple minutes....
