    Assuming it's a caddis of some sort. Tied here nominally as a Mother's Day; change color/size to suit your needs.

    hook - Dai Riki 135 #12
    thread - MFC 8/0 dark olive
    abdomen - dubbing light olive
    rib - Mirror Flash opal
    wing/wingcase - deer hair
    hackle - dun
    thorax - dubbing dark olive

    Scott,

    Nice find! I could see this fly also working with Congo Hair/Poly Yarn instead of the deer hair, perhaps add a little better visibility to it that way too. I have some Klinkhammer hooks at home to play around with this pattern.

    Interesting tie Scott. I don't recall seeing that style of hackle before and I like the "hot spot" on the video.

    Pretty much a basic Hacklestacker, just on the low end of the post; similar to the Headley Cripple among others.
