Thank you so much Dave!! Spent the morning with those folks. Great series. Especially like the segments with Bob Jacklin, Dave Hughes, Ed Engle, and Archibald Best! A real treasure trove.

Like Byron, I spent most this morning listening to some of the interviews. I was very impressed by a common thread among them. All are very accomplished, of course, but all are very honest about their feelings and past; humble to a fault and very intelligent. Bud Lilly's stories about his past military experiences were particularly impressive. I have saved this to my favorites and look forward to listening to all of the interviews. Thank you very much for this site. By the way, I was not surprised that many of them stated that the Brookie is their favorite trout.

Just an aside.........I have always found it so interesting that so many of the great Western tiers/fly fishers came from "The East" originally and settled out "West".

I find a similar thread in quite a few of the new guides/employees of the shops around West Yellowstone. Many arrived there from far away places. Some are local, no question, but many visited out "West", and stayed there.
