These were pulled off the production line years ago and never replaced. Going to be tying some steelhead flies and am looking for something similar - blackened, down-eye, heavy wire. Any suggestions?
Regards,
Scott

Not down-eye, but the Daiichi 2141 or 2451 would work depending on the proportions you were looking for. The Daiichi 2117 might work as well, but I've never used it I myself. If you really needed a down-eye, I'd probably just settle for a TMC3761 which is a pretty beefy hook in the larger sizes, even if it lacks the 'classic' look.
ScottP,
Check here. Ya' might find something similar:

This article might help:

Thanks, all, for the links and suggestions. Found a couple other options - Mustad 7970, a 5x strong, bronze finish and a Teeny hook made by Eagle Claw, also extra strong wire black (nickel) finish.
