High-tech for sure. I hope it works, too. I wonder if there's a way they could project some kind of 3D video to be seen the geese overhead as a mountain or field instead of a lake? Just trying to take a long shot.
Snow geese are smarter than most geese and are not as good on the table... as a result their numbers are much too high for their habitats. It is sad to lose the birds and to have them die that way, but much effort is put into reducing their numbers every year anyway.
No shortage of those geese here in SE PA right now.
