In watching Giancarlo tie, he seems to be using a whip finishing tool i've never seen before. If I'm not mistaken, he also uses it as a dubbing twister. I've tried to get a good look at it but haven't been successful. Anybody have any ideas?

You could ask him yourself.

Thanks Scott. I've sent him an email. (I think) Thanks again for sharing your step by steps. I look forward to seeing them all
Thompson variant that I think Petitjean makes. Looks quite cumbersome.
Looks like a C&F Design whip finisher.
I took Scott's advice and sent him an email. He replied right back and said they were unique and made by him. I'm trying to get a picture or link to someone who sells them. He said they were on the market. I'm just curious!
Alberto, I think you are right about it being a C&F tool. Kinda pricey for me. Think I'll stay with Matterelli.
