Tear Mender is latex based (the stuff skins over in a heartbeat), Fabric Fusion urethane. From what I've read the Fabric Fusion is much thinner than their Tacky glue. No experience with the Aleen products so I can't compare but the Tear Mender works great for the MOALs.

The leather adhesive tag may get me to buy a bottle or two. I have a pair of boots that cannot be replaced, I have been contemplating laminating a piece of leather over the foot of the boot.
