    Default Hans Weilenmann....wherefore art thou

I am wondering whatever happened to Hans Weilenmann?? He used to post here quite a bit. I haven't seen anything from him lately on ANY site?

I may have misunderstood, but I looked at his "flytiers" web page and didn't seem to find recent additions/changes.

If anyone has a location for a recent post by Hans, please let me know.

    Byron,

You most likely already found this but looks line Hans may be tying in England, February of 2017.

    Larry,
again, I am wondering why I do not see posts/videos from him in the last year or so? What is the latest update to his "flitter's page" website?
Seems like after he co-authored the book "365 Flies", he dropped off the horizon?
    Thanks,
    Byron

    Byron,

Last time I talked to Hans w/a question he mentioned he was pursuing a couple other deep interests to include some superb photography. He kindly sent me a couple pics. of a couple Wood Ducks that would knock anyone's sox off for their incredible detail etc. Nothing to be surprised about there, it's Hans after all!

This was at the end of last year or very early this year. I doubt he'd disappear totally but - it is a bit out of the ordinary given Hans' involvement in the decade or more previous!

He's definitely been obviously absent!! Not to worry, my guess anyways.

    Byron,

I do not belong to Twitter but the twit link below shows a lot of the start of his postings and he is doing a lot of photo work, looks like all over Europe. Maybe you can open up some of the pages on the BFFI event to find out more.

Seems to confirm his absence from the fly fishing/tying world that he was so intimately involved in for quite a few years. I wonder what changed? Quite a precipitous change??

His last post on the flymph forum was Oct 27. He is fairly active over there.
