    Default Carnage Salmonfly Skater SBS

This one started out as an October Caddis, inspired by Bill Bakke's steelhead pattern, but quickly morphed into a salmon fly. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait 8 months to see if it works.

    thread - UTC 140 black
    core - 20lb mono
    tail - fox squirrel tail

    Part 1

    mash barb, start thread

put a loop in one one of the mono, brush on a little Super Glue and tie in

clean, stack, measure (about 1.5 hook length using the scud hook) a clump of squirrel tail; tie in/trim butts

    divide and post wing
