Great deal on some arctic fox and rabbit skins

After lastchane's post on zonker strip cutters thought I'd post this up.

Found a lady on ebay who makes Teddy Bears and she's switching over to fake fur and is selling off all her real fur. Got 2 big lots of arctic fox for cheap




Couple weeks later she sent me an email with pics of dyed rabbit skins, large rex ones. I ordered 2 black and 1 cobalt blue, she let me know they were on the way and that she'd put some extra in for me being a good customer. Got them and and only got 1 black, 1 cobalt a light blue one and some scrap white. Sent her an email and she told me the light blue and white were the extra and she was sorry about the missing black one and she'd get it out with some extra for messing up my order. I got the missing black one and 7 more!! Told her it was way to much for a simple mistake and she said not to worry about it, so I told her to let me know when she was going to post them on her ebay page and I would post it around all the boards I'm on that she had some really nice skins.

Quite possibly the two most useful furs you can have for fly tying; definitely my two favorite furs. The one that might possibly rival the rabbit is seal fur that I use for dubbing. Great find on some very high-quality fur. Just think what that much fur would have cost you in a fly tying shop.
