    Default Cap Spiders

    How do you guys fish the Cap Spider? Just curious. The bigger gills will be nearing shore during the Fall season and I'll be ready.

    I fish them pretty much the same way as mentioned in the video. I cast it out, let it sink for 3-4 seconds depending on the depth of the water, then I retrieve it with sharp 1-2 inch strips with a one-second pause between strips. Very productive pattern for me.

    Follow Michael Verduin's advice on the video.. He was deadly when fishing Cap Spiders... He was a joy to know & fish with and would be very pleased to know that folks are still catching bream on his fly...
