    Default Hirano's Skater (variation)

Scaled down version to throw at some stupid cutts. Unfortunately, the river with a decent October Caddis hatch where I wanted to try it currently has Two Type 1 fire crews, five Type 2 crews, 14 engines, three water tenders, three helicopters and an air attack fixed wing airplane assigned to fight a serious fire. Fall can't come soon enough.
Here's a nice SBS of the original

That fly must have been dreamed up in during a nightmare.

Fun to tie and catches fish. As always, constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated; don't know what the problem is here.

No harm, no foul meant. Just some badly placed humor I guess. Glad you had fun with it. "Stupid Cutts"? Your comment, not mine.

    Bruce,

I should call this one a Yasgur variation.

Good bug. Really weird color scheme you chose, Scott, but I really like the simplicity of this skater.
