Deanna, I think of you often. And relish the times we shared at Lowell, and the Central Washington Fish In.
The Ladyfisher is doing well but not fishing these days. Last summer she had reverse shoulder surgery on her right shoulder to repair the damage that was caused by three previously failed rotator cuff surgeries. That surgery relieved most of the pain that she had experienced for several years but its doubtful that she could do much casting or fighting fish. She has not fished in several years now due to the pain in her right shoulder and arthritis and bone spurs that have developed in her left shoulder. We hope she can get some relief from the arthritis effects this spring when we get back to Montana and she gets to see her orthopedic surgeon. Since she is unable to fish her involvement with FAOL has diminished and she rarely uses the computer. I pass on the messages that I find on the bulletin board and she is pleased that our readers still remember her fondly.
I am so sorry to hear the news. Not being able to fish much be such a bummer for her.
Tell Deanna we all miss her and hope that she is back on the water in the near future,
Randy
Best wishes and prayers go out for you Deanna !!!!!!!!!!! Hope you are soon on the mend and able to wet a line again since you live in the Holy Land of Fly Fishing .

Fishing is certainly secondary to fighting the pain. Sylvia and I wish her the very best.

Well Deanna,
Damn! Sorry to hear this. NOT fishing has got to be such a bummer for you. And fighting pain makes it so much worse. However, if you wish, I would gladly send to you a fine bottle of Korbel brandy. I can no longer use the stuff, but when we did, pain seemed non-existent.
Take care Deanna and get well as you can.

Sad to hear she is no longer able to fish
